Responsibilities

• Delivers safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Affirms the patient's autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Assures informed consent for indicated procedures.
• Advocates for patients.
• Coordinates performance improvement initiatives.
• Provides nursing care and services to patients throughout the life span and in various settings.
• Writes a progress note demonstrating an understanding of the patient’s status and progress toward achievement of goals.
• Participates in quality improvement processes for the department and institution.
• Collaborates with senior nurses to use research findings in clinical practice.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Registered Nurse experience, 3 years must be in relevant practice area.
• Current NYS license as a RN.
• BLS certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 4 year / Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Master's degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Minimum 2 years Registered Nurse experience in relevant practice area, if Education is BSN or MSN.

Pay

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. Schedule

Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 lbs. for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Occasional balancing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching. Frequent fit testing. Constant typing, grasping, hearing, repetitive motion, seeing/monitor/computer use, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity, walking. Hazards: occasional radiation/radiant energy. Frequent: bodily fluids/bloodborne exposure. Working Conditions: occasional noise, vibration, wet and/or humid. Frequent odors. Travel: The job may require travel from time-to-time, but not on a regular basis.
