Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments.
• Establish IV access.
• Administer medications and moderate sedation.
• Monitor hemodynamics.
• Oversee recovery care.
• Maintain strict safety and infection-control standards while collaborating with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Support a patient-centered, team-oriented environment focused on clinical excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN license.
• Strong assessment and monitoring skills.
• Proficiency in IV access, medication administration, sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of safety and infection-control protocols.
