About the role

The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) is a highly specialized professional nurse who provides comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment
• Sedation management
• Physiological monitoring
• Medication administration
• Coordination of care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
• Collaboration with interventional radiologist, technologist, IR Navigator, and ancillary staff to ensure patient safety, procedural efficiency, and high-quality clinical outcomes

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
