Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology (IR)

Position Overview

Provides patient care utilizing nursing processes, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Coordinates care with other departments, evaluates care effectiveness, and aligns duties with organizational standards and values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• Preferred 2 years of critical-care nursing experience
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) may be required based on the department

Key Duties & Skills

• Utilize clinical skills to deliver high-quality patient care
• Assess patient needs and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain patient confidentiality and rights
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and various movements to perform duties effectively

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, pull, and perform prolonged standing and walking, with capability to bend, kneel, and reach.
