Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology - FT Days

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing practices based on the latest evidence, policies, and standards.
• Performs comprehensive assessments and collects data for patient health.
• Develops and coordinates a plan of care tailored to the patient's needs.
• Communicates with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Administers medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions.
• Evaluates patient progress towards achieving outcomes.
• Initiates interventions based on patient conditions and responses.
• Identifies and addresses ethical issues in the practice setting.
• Lifts a minimum of 35 lbs., pushes/pulls a minimum of 10 lbs., and stands for 6 hours daily.

Qualifications

• A minimum associate's degree in Nursing or diploma in Nursing.
• BSN in progress and willing to obtain within three years of hire.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Six or more months of relevant nursing experience, or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.
• The ability to quickly learn and adapt to changing patient needs, strong focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and patient-focused care.
• National Certification in the area of specialty preferred.
