Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care - F/T Nights

About the role

The Registered Nurse at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a variety of complex patients, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes comprehensive patient data for assessment and care planning.
• Develops and implements a plan of care based on patient needs and goals.
• Communicates with patients and families, other healthcare providers, and support staff to coordinate care.
• Administers medications accurately and documents care using electronic systems.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans as necessary.
• Adapts to changing patient conditions and communicates effectively with the team.
• Ensures patient safety and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• At least six (6) months of nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.
• A BSN is preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire.
• Telemetry certification is preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to patient needs, and demonstrate strong teamwork and patient focus.
