Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

About the role

Join the dynamic Intensive Care Unit at Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, KS. We are seeking experienced nurses who provide patient-centered care with compassion and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient centered care with compassion and empathy.
• Work alongside Intensivists and NP’s during shifts.
• Responsible for performing patient care, delegating tasks, and supervising other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health care team.
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse - Various
• Associate Degree

Qualifications

• Supportive leadership team
• Nursing Assistants available to assist
• Respiratory Therapy available at night
• Extra incentives available for picking up additional shifts
