About the role
A new team member is needed for a 30-bed variable acuity unit at a Critical Access facility located 30 miles south of Asheville. The facility recently made the Top 20 list of Critical Access Hospitals in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established standards
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to medical staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience
- At least 2 years of ICU experience
- RN license (compact accepted)
- BLS-AHA certification
- ACLS certification
- SSN required
- DOB required
- No more than 90 days of gap in work history in the last year
Qualifications
- ICU competence
- IV start experience preferred
