Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Rehab RN to join our team at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital. As a compassionate and reliable RN, you will provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient-centered care model. This role requires making clinical assessments and managing treatment autonomously while being part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
- Act as an advocate for patient safety
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay
Requirements
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required (compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation)
- BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
- 1 year of RN experience in an Inpatient Rehab setting is preferred
- BSN is preferred
- CRRN preferred
