Registered Nurse - Inpatient Medical - RN

About the role

Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in an inpatient medical setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient needs, collaboratively developing care plans.
• Administer medications accurately and safely, following protocols and guidelines.
• Participate in rounds and team meetings to discuss patient progress and plan next steps.
• Document patient interactions and treatments in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Support patients and families through their healthcare journey, providing emotional and informational support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
• At least one year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with critical care and/or medical-surgical settings.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$45,000 - $55,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
