About the role
TriHealth Bethesda Butler Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Care Unit. This position offers a part-time day shift schedule with occasional weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document initial and ongoing patient/family assessments.
- Develop, communicate, and update individualized plans of care, including discharge planning.
- Provide safe, patient-centered care that supports autonomy, dignity, and diversity.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies and take appropriate clinical action.
- Carry out physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Complete assigned care and documentation within required timeframes.
- Administer medications/treatments safely and perform technical skills per policy.
- Evaluate patient responses and revise the plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Serve as a clinical resource and support training/education of staff and students.
- Maintain current clinical knowledge and adhere to organizational and departmental standards.
- Function in relief charge/resource roles as requested.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
- New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
- BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs a various stages of the life cycle.
- Preferred membership in related professional organization.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant acute care nursing experience strongly preferred.
- PREFERRED certification in specialty.

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus!

Part Time Days - (25 hours weekly) 7:00am - 7:30pm Every 3rd weekend rotation Holiday rotation
