Registered Nurse (Inpatient Behavioral Health) - Princeton, NJ - Per Diem (Night Shift)

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a plan of nursing care based on goals derived from identified needs;
  • Revises the patients individualized plan of care as indicated;
  • Implements individualized nursing plan of care, consistent with established policies, procedures, and protocols;
  • Evaluates and documents patient responses to nursing care, and participates in evaluating and improving the delivery of care on the unit;
  • Demonstrates accuracy in entering medication orders on the computer and medication administration;
  • Provides appropriate coordination of care and intervention to patients undergoing a psychiatric or medical emergency

Scheduling Requirements (Tier II)

  • Works a minimum of six shifts per 6 week schedule.
  • Must include 3 weekend shifts.

What We Require for this Role

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required, or in pursuit of; A registered nurse with an Associate’s Degree with greater than 5 years of clinical experience in a clinical specialty may be considered.
  • Related Work Experience: 15 months of RN experience required; Psych experience preferred.
  • LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Active RN NJ license required.

Salary Range

$49.96 - $68.99/Hourly
