About the Role

VIVO Infusion is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse to provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and clinical guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and attentive manner within scope of practice.
  • Calculate, mix, and administer prescription medications daily.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatment.
  • Assist with managing and overseeing inventory and supply ordering.
  • Document and report patient assessments to medical staff and other healthcare team members on an ongoing basis.
  • Perform skillful and accurate IV insertion.
  • Communicate with providers via Telehealth as needed.
  • Assist in the implementation of continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
  • Perform admission and ongoing assessments on patients.
  • Complete the daily run/flow sheet review on assigned treatments.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate competency in all facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance with clinical and technical standards.
  • Supervise assigned unlicensed direct patient care team members.
  • Enforce and adhere to all HIPAA compliance policies.
  • Ensure complete and accurate daily electronic charting documentation and reporting in an efficient and timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid state professional nurse licensure (required).
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program (required).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (required).
  • Minimum of 1 year IV experience (required).
  • ONC Certified (preferred).
  • Infusion experience (preferred).
  • Certification in specialty/CRNI (Certified RN Infusion) (preferred).
  • ICU/ED experience (preferred).
  • Demonstrated record of commitment to safety and excellence.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to independently perform accurate dose calculations and medication mixing on a daily basis.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Compensation

Pay range: $43.00 – $48.00 per hour.

Schedule

Per Diem position – Tuesday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (Non‑Exempt).

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The work is performed in an indoor medical office that is generally quiet, with typical sounds of medical equipment. Employees regularly sit, talk, and hear; frequently use hands to handle and feel; and occasionally stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Employees must regularly lift or move up to 10 lb and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lb.
