Registered Nurse, Infusion

Nursing Duties

• Care coordination
• Patient assessment and documentation
• IV infusions of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies
• IM and SC injections
• Central line access
• Dressing changes
• Treatment phlebotomies
• Patient education
• Patient triage
• Multi-disciplinary care coordination

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, BA and/or OCN Certification preferred
• 3 years of nursing experience in a clinic, Oncology nursing experience preferred
• RN, Louisiana State Board of Nursing license and CPR required
• OCN required within 2 years of attaining position
• Current ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card required, or obtained within 30 days of hire
