About the role
The Tayside Childhood Immunisation Team delivers the flu vaccine to all eligible children and young people aged 6 months to 18 years across Tayside in GP surgeries, community clinics, and schools. To support this campaign, we are offering 14-week fixed-term or secondment contracts from 07/09/2026 to 13/12/2026. A full training programme will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver immunisations to children and young people in various settings, including GP surgeries, community clinics, and schools.
- Travel across Tayside on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Current UK NMC nursing registration.
- Previous experience of immunisations, working with children and families, or working in a community setting would be advantageous.
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours each week (hours are negotiable).
Pay
Salary scale for this post is pro rata for part-time hours (Band 5).
Schedule
- 14-week fixed-term/secondment contract: 07/09/2026 to 13/12/2026.
- Variable hours with a minimum of 15 hours per week.
