Registered Nurse II- PRN

About the role

The Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. They deliver safe and effective care and interact with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Monitors patient progress and reports changes in condition to physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Administers medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Ensures patient safety through adherence to infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Documents patient care accurately and in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Pay

Hourly pay rate commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Choose between 24 or 48 hours per 6 weeks at a fixed rate.
