Registered Nurse II, Medical Surgical / Telemetry

About the role

This role involves coordinating comprehensive nursing care for patients, including patient and family education, and providing clinical leadership through collaboration with healthcare team members. This role emphasizes clinical expertise, leadership, ethical practice, and effective communication to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Applying clinical judgment to ensure high-quality, ethical, and culturally responsive care
• Participating in systems improvement and clinical inquiry
• Working effectively during various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Handling hazardous drugs per safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program or RN licensure
• Valid RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS
• At least two years of relevant recent experience

Skills and Knowledge

• Solid understanding of nursing theories, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety, patient privacy, and best practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments
• Commitment to patient privacy and building effective team relationships

Schedule

Night shifts with variable days and every other weekend.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $73.98 to $98.47 per hour, based on experience and location.
