Registered Nurse II

Responsibilities

• Adhere to departmental policies, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
• Precept new staff and review clinical performance.
• Assist with patient preparation, assessment, and history documentation.
• Cook with recommendations with practitioners and resolve complex patient issues independently.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and a safe environment using effective communication techniques.
• Support providers during examinations and procedures, maintain accurate records, and monitor supplies and equipment.
• Schedule appointments, relay test results, and provide patient education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement diagnosis-based care.
• Maintain professional growth through ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Completed nursing degree and valid Tennessee RN License.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional nursing experience, with cardiothoracic or cardiac surgery background.
• CPR certification.
