Registered Nurse - ICU - Seasonal PRN

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care in the ICU, collaborating with medical providers and the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. The RN performs procedures and monitoring as ordered, documents care promptly, educates patients and families, and manages evidence‑based practices and quality improvement initiatives.

Program Requirements

• Seasonal program runs from September 20 2026 to April 3 2027.
• Minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
• Four (4) weekend shifts required each 4‑week schedule period.
• Two (2) holiday shifts required during the 32‑week period (as defined by the Department Manager or designee).
• May be asked to float to another nearby facility with an emergency staffing need.
• PRN status – no guaranteed hours; subject to first call‑off.
• No extra shift bonuses.
• One opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation.
• Current full‑time, part‑time, or PRN employees, as well as current HWS employees, are not eligible for the 2026‑27 seasonal program.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) – Associate Degree required.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Pay

$62 per hour.

Schedule

PRN (as‑needed) shifts during the seasonal period. Shifts may vary based on departmental needs.
