Registered Nurse - ICU

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The RN will provide high-quality critical care to patients with complex cardiac conditions in a fast-paced intensive care environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of ICU experience, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Previous Cardiac ICU (CICU) experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor hemodynamic status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as ordered.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to acute changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact (Multistate) RN License
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Cardiac ICU (CICU) experience
• Strong cardiac monitoring and critical care skills

Schedule

• 13-Week Contract
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 36 Hours/Week (3x12)
• No Call Required
