Department Job Description Summary

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor patients on external and transvenous pacemakers.
• Monitor and evaluate patients on specific drips such as Diprivan, Vasopressors, Paralytics, etc.
• Evaluate and document patient's hemodynamic response and use of critical care equipment.
• Evaluate and document patients with Femoral Line Catheters, Pulmonary Artery Catheters, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy, Ventilator support, and Intracranial Pressure Monitors.
• Safely care for Cardio Surgical patients who are hemodynamically compromised.

Qualifications

• Current FL Nursing License, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support required.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred, CCRN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
