Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments, documenting findings, and evaluating patient needs.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, labs, and physician orders.
- Provide and document nursing interventions, administer medications, and ensure accurate communication with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and take appropriate actions, including specialized care for high-risk patients and pain management.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance with policies, including restraint use and abuse assessment.
- Provide education, discharge planning, and promote service excellence through compassionate communication.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, evidence-based practice, and professional development.
- Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and a respectful environment, while adhering to safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Licensed RN in the relevant state with current BLS certification.
- Ability to perform age-appropriate care and communicate effectively.
- Competence in technical skills, documentation, and collaborative teamwork.
