ICU / IMCU nurse providing high-acuity, patient-centered care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor critically ill and intermediate care patients
- Manage ventilators and titratable drips
- Interpret cardiac and telemetry data
- Respond promptly to patient condition changes
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families
- Document thoroughly in the EMR
