About the role

The Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) position offers individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients and families in operating rooms and post-anesthesia care units across various specialties. This role is part of a dynamic team in a Magnet-designated department that provides cutting-edge technology and exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients and families in operating rooms and post-anesthesia care units.
• Interact with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors, and working from elevated areas.
• Reach overhead, perform repetitive motions, lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs., and perform fine manipulation with hands.
• Work rotating shifts, overtime as required, and in a latex-safe environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

• New graduate registered nurses with less than 1 year of experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current South Carolina RN license.
