Registered Nurse, House Supervisor
About the role
The House Supervisor oversees the daily operations and flow of the house, reporting to management and senior leaders. They serve as the first line of contact for any incidents within the facility. In collaboration with the attending physician and the health care team, the House Supervisor supports and cares for patients in all areas of the critical access hospital. This position supervises nursing staff when a manager or director is not present and serves as a resource for problem-solving patient acute issues, utilization of resources, and policy/procedure interpretation during assigned shifts. The House Supervisor provides assistance and facilitates efforts of personnel from all departments in delivering patient care services, demonstrating advanced knowledge to manage patient care operations in the absence of directors and managers. They also serve as the onsite administration liaison for the hospital and collaborate with the on-call administrator as necessary regarding issues or problems.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Wisconsin
- Current BLS Certification (within 3 months of hire)
- Neonatal life support (NRP) certification
- TNCC Certification (within six months of hire)
- ACLS Certification
- PALS or ENPC Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience
- Baccalaureate Degree (BAN/BSN preferred)
