Registered Nurse - Hospice Case Manager
Overview
Sentara Health is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Registered Nurse Case Manager. The Direct Care Registered Nurse – Home Health and Hospice provides high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes or hospice settings, ensuring comfort, dignity, and emotional support during end-of-life care.
Location: Sentara Hospice Services – Harrisonburg, VA (within a 50‑mile radius). Anticipated status: Full‑time (40 hours/week), Day shift.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required)
- Valid RN license in Virginia (required)
- BLS certification (required within 90 days of hire)
- At least 1 year of nursing experience (required)
- Previous home care/hospice experience (preferred)
- Prior case‑management experience (preferred)
Compensation
Base pay range for full‑time employment: $87,214.40 – $126,900.80 annually. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra‑shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation varies based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
