Registered Nurse, Home Health Weekend

About the role

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible RN Weekend Baylor position in Home Health. The role offers the flexibility to work either Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday.

Responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients’ nursing needs, implement individualized care plans, evaluate plan effectiveness, and modify as appropriate.
• Promote and maintain optimal client care; diagnose and provide treatment for human responses to actual or potential health problems.
• Make the initial nursing evaluation visit and re-evaluate clients’ nursing needs as required.
• Initiate the plan of care and necessary revisions; provide services requiring substantial special skills within the Nurse Practice Act.
• Assign, supervise, and teach other clinical personnel, including written para-professional orders and supervision.
• Initiate appropriate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Inform the physician and other personnel of changes in the client’s condition and needs.
• Counsel and instruct the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation.
• One (1) year of experience as an RN.
• Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order; ability to travel to all business locations.
• Must have Geriatric Home Health and OASIS experience.

Pay

$87,000 – $100,000 per year
