Registered Nurse - Home Dialysis

About the role

Seeking a Home Therapy Registered Nurse responsible for training and supporting patients on home dialysis modalities, including peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient and care partner training
• Conduct home visits and assess home environments to ensure safe and effective treatment
• Document all nursing activities, monitor infection control, and manage emergency procedures
• Coordinate with physicians, track patient outcomes, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Perform routine lab tests, medication reviews, and administer medications as prescribed
• Provide on-call nursing services on a rotational basis, ensuring reliable availability

Requirements

• Clinical nursing experience
• Familiarity with dialysis
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Maintain current RN licensure, CPR certification, and complete specialized orientation and competency assessments
