Registered Nurse - Hematology/Oncology

Provides expert nursing care in a clinical setting, focusing on patient assessment, care planning, and direct interventions. Promotes safety, patient satisfaction, and compassionate interactions, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs and ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments, formulates and implements care plans, administers treatments and medications, manages IVs and venous access, and follows research protocols
• Evaluates intervention effectiveness and adjusts care accordingly
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to resolve patient needs
• Participates in quality and safety initiatives

Requirements

• Nursing degree from a specialty training program
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, preferably with Hematology/Oncology background
• Proficiency in patient care procedures, documentation, and interdisciplinary communication
