Hiring Range: $39.54 - $74.06 (final offer may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity)

- Shift: Day Shift, 8 Hours (0700-1530)
- Scheduled Hours: 24 per week
- Weekends: Every Other Weekend
- Holidays: Every Other Holiday

Responsibilities
- Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient’s care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
- Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
- Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
- Directs, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
- Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
- Documents patient care according to standard procedure.
- Develops, implements/coordinates, and documents Education Plan for patient/family/significant other.
- Ensures quality and continuity of care through collaboration with other health care providers.
- Administers medications, performs treatments, therapies, and operates equipment according to policy and procedure.
- Assists physician with treatment and procedures and special tests as required or directed.
- Participates in and supports Nursing Governance activities.
- Assumes responsibility for professional growth.
- Assists in education and development of staff.
- Participates in performance improvement initiatives and demonstrates the use of quality improvement in daily operations.
- Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Attends variety of meetings, conferences, and seminars as required or directed.
- Demonstrates use of Quality Improvement in daily operations.
- Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements.
- Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to a professional, tolerant, and civil environment.
- Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
- BLS certification is required for every RN unless ACLS certification is current, in addition to any unit-specific certifications and competencies.
- Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
- Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained; responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions
Work is considered medium and requires work indoors in a patient care environment.
Additional Requirements for Milford Regional
- BLS through either American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) is required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS through American Heart Association (AHA) required in select areas (Gannett, MP1, ICU, ED, Cath Lab, Endo, IR, PACU, Float Pool) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering, whichever is sooner.
- PALS through American Heart Association (AHA) required in select areas (PACU, ED) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering, whichever is sooner.
- NRP Advanced Provider through American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) required in select areas (Maternity) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering, whichever is sooner.
