About the role
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or guidance of licensed healthcare professionals, ensuring professional accountability and patient rights confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates patient care with other departments
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Supports treatment plans for general surgery patients
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in the state or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of 2 years patient care experience
Supervisor experience and a bachelor’s degree preferred.
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, and kneeling
