Registered Nurse - General Surgery - Full Time

About the Role

A registered nurse responsible for providing independent and comprehensive patient care within a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine and complex nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor side-effects, and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying resources as needed.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to other care providers to manage clinical situations effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Schedule

Full-time position with a schedule of five 8-hour days.
