Responsibilities

Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed facility with specialized departments including emergency services, maternity, children's medical center, cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology. It is accredited for chest pain with PCI and primary stroke centers and has received awards from the American Heart Association. The Valley Health System (VHS) operates six hospitals in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, focusing on patient-centered care, technology, and education.

VHS is owned by Universal Health Services, Inc. Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
  • Experience: One-year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in the state of Nevada. Current BLS Certification, Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certifications may be required by facility, specialty, or department.
  • Other: Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
