About the role

The Valley Health System (VHS), comprising six hospitals in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, seeks exceptional professionals who align with their vision and values. Responsibilities

Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Lead and support the healthcare team. Ensure adherence to Patient Centered Care principles. Supervise and guide employees under your supervision. Maintain Service Excellence standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.
  • Experience: One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certifications as may be required by facility, specialty, or department.
  • Other: Successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
