About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in cardiac and respiratory care. The role involves performing direct patient care activities across all ages, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will coordinate care with ancillary departments to enhance patient comfort and outcomes, working within the scope of nursing practice and adhering to ethical standards, hospital guidelines, and state regulations.

The unit combines aspects of ED and ICU, demanding quick decision-making and critical thinking to manage patients with cardiac issues, respiratory distress, and septic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients of all ages.
• Coordinate care with ancillary departments to improve patient outcomes and comfort.

Requirements

• Nursing degree (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
