About the Role
Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, including level 1 trauma care.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver evidence-based, top-of-scope care.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Support new staff through precepting.
- Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
- Provide emergency care up to level 1 trauma standards.
- Participate in education and competency validation.
- Maintain a patient-centered, safety-focused approach.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- At least 6 months of nursing experience.
- Certifications in BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and trauma care (TNCC or ATCN).
- Additional certifications: ACLS, Trauma Nurse Core Course, and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications within specified timeframes.
