Registered Nurse (Full Time)
Located at Mercy Orthopedic Hospital Ozark/Springfield, Missouri. Full-time position.
About the role
Find your calling at Mercy! Responsible for assessing patients referred by physicians to assure patients are appropriate. Assesses medical history, surgical and anesthesia history, medications and determines if any pretreatment or additional medical clearance is needed prior to procedure. Provides patient education as needed for procedure and medication management. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
