About the role
The Registered Nurse provides a range of nursing care in a unique outpatient facility, handling patients from minor treatments to critically ill cases.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate triages and discharges for patients of all ages
- Administer and document medications
- Apply dressings, splints, and wound care
- Conduct EKGs and cardiac monitoring with arrhythmia recognition
- Prepare procedures such as I&D, sutures, and lumbar punctures
- Delegate tasks to team members
- Initiate evaluation orders
- Utilize organizational software for record-keeping and protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Over 3 years of recent Critical Care and ER experience
- Active Florida RN license or equivalent
- Certifications in ACLS and PALS
- Ability to work independently, perform physical tasks, and stand for long shifts
Skills
- Prior ER experience is highly preferred
Schedule
Three shifts weekly, including every other weekend, in Tampa area locations.
