This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in various healthcare settings. The nurse collaborates with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, ensuring high-quality care through critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate service. Preserving patient dignity, autonomy, and rights is essential, along with restoring health when possible.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administer medications as prescribed and provide age-appropriate care.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.
• Utilize nursing knowledge for treatments and services.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver holistic care.
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical skills.
• Address psychosocial needs and communicate with social services for discharge planning.
• Practice cost-effective resource management.
• Prioritize patient care efficiently and promote safety to minimize harm.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS.
