About the role
Responsible for assessing patients referred by physicians to ensure appropriateness for procedures.
Key Duties
- Evaluates medical, surgical, and anesthesia history
- Reviews medications
- Determines if pretreatment or additional medical clearance is needed
- Provides patient education regarding procedures and medication management
Qualifications
- Completed nursing education (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Active RN license
- Basic Life Support certification

Work Environment
Located at orthopedic hospital, supporting preoperative orthopedics patients.
