Registered Nurse FT Nights R2 NEW RATES
We are offering a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for new hire Staff Nurse, Night shift only. The first half is paid at 6 months and the second half will be paid at one year of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care based on the knowledge of ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.
- Participates in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning of their patients.
- Coordinates Psychiatric and/or Medical emergencies in such a manner that assures that the individual in crisis is properly cared for and that all other patients are safe.
- Participates as an active team member by assisting other staff and accepting additional assignments to complete essential patient care and unit responsibilities.
- Administers medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.
- Assumes role of Charge Nurse for the shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- B.S.N preferred.
- Current RI nursing license.
