Registered Nurse FT Nights

Job Duties

• Complete documentation promptly and maintain medical records
• Administer medications and monitor detoxification process
• Transcribe Physician orders and implement Medical Protocols
• Collaborate with medical personnel and external resources
• Document patient services in compliance with licensure standards
• Assess medical and psychiatric needs, prioritize, and expedite treatment
• Educate patients about medications and health conditions
• Take, document, and execute verbal orders accurately
• Provide routine nursing care under Nursing Director supervision

Requirements

• Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Behavioral health experience preferred
• Licensed to practice in the State of licensure (RN), active and in good standing required

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current DEA registration

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport with patients and families
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in electronic health record systems
