About the role
As a Registered Nurse at South Texas Health System, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. You will work in a variety of settings including acute care, outpatient clinics, and emergency departments.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on nursing process.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
