About the role

Regions Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join its Float Pool. The position involves caring for patients in various inpatient units, including critical care units such as SICU, MICU, CCU, and Burn ICU. The role is particularly suited for those with 1 year of critical care ICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient-centered, safe, effective, equitable, timely, and efficient care based on patient needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
  • Participate as an effective unit and nursing department member.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other healthcare team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or Associate Degree in Nursing with 1 year of RN experience.
  • Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota.
  • CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • One year of acute care RN experience preferred.
  • One year of ICU RN experience preferred.

Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work with a wide range of patients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Pay

Competitive pay based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

0.70 Day/Evening. Mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts. Every 3rd weekend rotation.
