Registered Nurse - Float Pool - F/T Nights

About the role

The Registered Nurse at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for delivering safe and excellent individualized patient care. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a variety of complex patients under the guidance of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data for patient health assessment.
• Performs age and disease-specific assessment and data collection.
• Develops a plan of care and patient-centered goals.
• Communicates and coordinates care with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Administers medications using bar-scanning technology.
• Coordinates patient discharge to ensure safe transitions.
• Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes.
• Adapts care based on patient needs and conditions.
• Addresses ethical issues and patient satisfaction.
• Continuously updates skills and competencies.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (preferred).
• National certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire.
• Quick learning and adaptability to changing patient needs.
• Exceptional teamwork and dedication to ongoing education.
• Strong focus on patient satisfaction and high-quality care.

Pay
