Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Role Overview

This position supports safe, quality, evidence-based patient care within a hospital setting, adhering to organizational policies and demonstrating advanced nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment—to deliver personalized care based on patient age, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs.
• Document care and promote interdisciplinary communication.
• May rotate to different units based on competency, performing delegated duties within scope of practice.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Colorado RN license or multistate license
• Nursing diploma (BSN preferred)
• CURRENT BCLS and ACLS certifications
• At least two years of acute care RN experience
• Ability to float within designated units and demonstrate competency in specialized skills
