Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse Float Pool provides safe, high-quality patient care across multiple units including Med/Surg, ICU, ED, Rehab, and Senior Mental Health. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, assist with treatments, and coordinate interdisciplinary care. They delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs, and support staff, ensuring adherence to standards and protocols. The RN maintains accurate documentation, monitors patient progress, and communicates effectively with physicians and families. They also assume leadership roles such as Charge Nurse and Admissions Nurse when needed, supporting a safe, therapeutic environment. Qualifications & Skills: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with active RN licensure in the state or a compact state, and current BCLS and ACLS certifications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, uphold patient confidentiality, and follow HIPAA guidelines is essential.
