Registered Nurse - Float

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse Cath Lab Float provides specialized patient care within the Cardiology Department, under the guidance of the Cardiology Manager. Key Responsibilities: Administers medications, monitors vital signs and EKG, performs patient assessments, documents accurate records, and supports patient education and post-procedure care. The RN is trained to respond to emergencies, including CPR, and participates in in-service education. They collect data for performance improvement and support on-call duties, responding to emergencies within 30 minutes. The position involves working across multiple hospital campuses based on staffing needs. Qualifications & Skills: Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Kansas nursing license, BLS certification, and one year of cardiology-related nursing experience. ACLS certification is required within six months. Strong interpersonal, team skills, and basic computer knowledge are preferred.
