About the role

Seeking a registered nurse for night shifts to provide direct patient care in a critical care, emergency, or labor and delivery setting.

Responsibilities

• Apply medical-surgical nursing standards to enhance patient care and quality of life.
• Build effective relationships with patients, families, and the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans.
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Consider physical, cultural, social, and emotional factors in patient management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess needs, set goals, and evaluate outcomes.
• Communicate effectively for culturally sensitive, ethical, and compassionate care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Mentor colleagues and apply evidence-based practices in medical-surgical nursing.
• Perform point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One to two years of nursing experience, preferably in critical care or emergency settings.
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification.

Physical requirements

• Standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and sensory acuity.
