About the role

You will function as a First Assistant in Surgery within perioperative nursing, executing advanced nursing behaviors and delegated medical functions in accordance with the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative care tailored to diverse patient populations, practice environments, and institutional policies
• Ensure compliance with state regulations

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing; BSN required within 3 years of hire
• Licensed to practice nursing in Florida
• Certified in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Preferred: Certification as an RNFA through CCI or equivalent
• 3–5 years of diversified perioperative nursing experience
